3 Things We Can All Be Thankful for this Year

It’s been a crazy few years for anyone who works in the performance industry. This includes music educators, theatre directors, production/rental companies, and many more. No matter your role, you’ve experienced the highs and lows that we all have.
Hopefully 2023 has been good to you so far. We want to take this time to focus on the things we all have to be thankful for this year and in the years to come.
Opportunity
This year has been full of opportunity as events have officially returned to – and maybe even exceeded – what we consider normal. This has been especially true for our rental partners. While this heightened demand is great, it also presents its own challenges to overcome.
For theatres and schools, hopefully you’ve been able to return to your regular schedule of performances.
Community
Community is such a huge part of what we all do. We build community with our audiences, and we have community with each other. Venues and organizations will occasionally rent and borrow staging, risers, and other equipment from one another as needed and that has happened a lot this year. We’ve had to step up to support one another and we hope you’ve experienced that in a positive way.
Innovation
Innovation is constant. As requirements change and audience expectations rise, continuous improvement is needed and that’s something we pride ourselves on here at StageRight. No matter the need, we’ll try our best to meet it and we know that you’re the same way because we all want to be the best we can for both the performers and the audience. Innovation makes everyone better in the long run.
Conclusion
At the end of the day, we’re thankful for all of our friends and partners throughout the industry. We’re thankful for the opportunities we’ve been given and the ones we’ve been able to provide. We’re thankful for the community we’ve built and for the community we’re able to help others build. We’re thankful for innovation and the continuous improvement we see all throughout the performance world.
